Mummies of the World Sets Records in Milwaukee, Heads to Philadelphia

Visitors from every state in the country attended the special exhibition Mummies of the World during its run at the Milwaukee Public Museum. In addition to its impressive nationwide draw, Mummies of the World also played a vital role in helping the Milwaukee Public Museum set its record one-day attendance of more than 10,000 visitors on December 27, 2010.

Mummies of the World also welcomed its 300,000th all-time visitor on March 16, 2011 thanks to great attendance numbers in both Los Angeles and Milwaukee.

Mummies of the World opened in Philadelphia at The Franklin Institute on June 18, 2011.

As part of their Man v Food Nation Casting Call, the Travel Channel has taken nSixty on the road to ten different cities as part of The Bite Tour, to find the next contestant on Man v Food Nation. Look for one of our video recording kiosk in a town near you! Maybe you’ll get a chance to be on Man v Food Nation with Adam Richman (if you’ve got the appetite!).

nSixty is now a proud partner of the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo! As part of their brand new African Elephant Crossing exhibit, the Cleveland Zoo is using one of our portable video recording kiosks for guests to share their experience. Guests can then post their video to Facebook and Twitter so all of their friends and family can see how much they love the new African Elephant Crossing exhibit.

nSixty attending MuseumExpo 2011 May 23-25

nSixty will be attending the American Association of Museums Annual Meeting & MuseumExpo 2011 in Houston, Texas from May 23 to May 25. We will be showing off our video recording stations and interactive green screen exhibits as well as our activations from the Mummies of the World Tour and the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame and Museum.

After our blockbuster season at the Reds Hall of Fame and Museum, nSixty is moving into Great American Ballpark for the 2011 season. There we will have three video recording stations on different levels of the ballpark.

Cleveland Fans Share Their Experience at The Q

Sports and music fans in Cleveland can now share the fun and excitement of Quicken Loans Arena with all of their social networks via nSixty video! nSixty recently delivered three fully customized video recording kiosks to Quicken Loans Arena, which is home to the NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers, the Lake Erie Monsters AHL hockey team and the Cleveland Gladiators Arena Football League team. Cleveland sports fans are having a great time sharing the experience of watching their home teams in action.

The Q will also be hosting upcoming concerts by Bob Seger, RUSH and Lady Gaga.

The kiosks are branded head to toe for Quicken Loans Arena and the sports franchises. They also have a customized user interface, call-to-action “attraction screen” that changes to match the team playing that night or defaults to a generic Arena message, video player microsite I-Framed into their website and a Facebook video sharing application.

We’ve mentioned before how video booths are a hot wedding trend for 2011, and brides are starting to find out why: it’s a great way for guests to share memories with the couple and a great way to have fun at the reception. Plus, the newlyweds can share their favorite videos on Facebook and Twitter.

Hollywood Casino and Boogie Nights patrons are having a blast with nSixty. The video recording station stays in the lobby of Hollywood Casino during the day, and people enjoy sharing the fortunes, both good and bad. Luckily, the person below won some money:

At night, the video recording station moves to Boogie Nights, where people can record a video of them boogying to some great tunes from the ’70s and ’80s.

Video Booths a Hot Wedding Trend for 2011

On today’s FOX 19 Morning Show, Brigid Horne-Nestor from i-do boutique in Cincinnati discussed some of the hot wedding trends for 2011. One of those trends happened to be video guestbooks from nSixty. They’re a great way for guests to share a memory or congratulations with the bride and groom, and a fun memento for the newlyweds.
